Defence Community Recreation Centre (DCRC) Committee
The Committee – with assistance from the Defence Community Organisation, aims to oversee the general control and management of the administration, affairs, property and funds of the DCRC.
Whilst the responsibility of the Committee is considerable, the attendees aim to operate in a relaxed informal manner; discussing the general business of DCRC’s varied services and activities, including fundraising ideas and community engagement events.
The Committee is made up of the following ‘Office Bearers’:
1. President/Chairperson
2. Secretary
3. Treasurer
and (a maximum) of 8 ‘Ordinary Members’ (who actively participate) but do not have to complete formal duties (such as minute taking, or account management). In addition, the Committee also has several ‘Coordinator’ roles. These individuals are Ordinary Members who provide specific information on the separate services on offer at the DCRC, such as Xtreme Tuesdays and Playgroup.

Become a Committee Member!:
The Committee comprises of volunteers who contribute their time, ideas and energy to ensuring the DCRC provides supportive services to Defence families in accordance with funding and legislative guidelines. Please contact us if you wish to be involved on the Committee. Positions are restricted to spouses of Full time ADF Members.
